So you want to know about the Scout Network? Well hopefully this page will answer your questions.
What is the Scout Network?
The Isle of Man Scout Network is a group of enthusiastic individuals who participate in many interesting and diverse activities both at home and abroad. The group is self-motivating.
At what age can I become a member?
The Scout Network is open to young people aged between 18 and 25. It sits right between the Explorer Scout Section and the Scout Fellowship and works closely with both of these sections to boost the Island's Scouting profile and also assist with the "Moving On" process.
What about my University Career?
We understand that the 18-25 age group is often packed with distractions, many of which see you spending time away from home. The Scout Network has adapted to these preoccupations and operates a "flexible" programme that allows you to opt-in to activities when it is convenient. Strong bonds between the UK's many Scout Network units will enable us to arrange seamless integration with a local unit should you wish to participate while you are away.
