31/12/06 - 01/01/07 : New Years Party @ Eary Cushlin.
This was a friendly way of welcoming in the New Year and the start to an extra special Centenary Scouting Year! Held in the slightly futher afield location of Eary Cushlin, the remote experience was amplified by the severe gales, but we were cosy in the little house and plenty of high spirits to keep us warm!! Thankyou to Neil K & Laura, who did a grand job of preparing and serving us all with a 3 course roast dinner, much enjoyed by all and easily digested with a few drinks and a Trivial Pursuits Championship. The stroke of midnight was marked by a cheer, an explosive rocket and a quick visit to the newly located 'letterbox' for us all to sign the visitors book on 01/01/07, at 00:00. Our morning wake up was to the smell of bacon, sausage and eggs, once more Laura proved her abilities in the kitchen.
